Our Quality Assurance / Continuous Quality Improvement Programs

At any given time OAG will be conducting several programs aimed at finding ways to make anesthesia safer from major complications, freer of side effects and less expensive. One area of particular interest is the prevention and treatment of post-operative nausea and vomiting. This problem is common, vexing and completely resistant to any simple approach. We are adopting the CQI model used in industry to promote individual study and innovation in this area. We know we will not discover a "magic bullet," but we hope to cut the incidence significantly.
