Dr. Kotlarz completed her anesthesiology residency at the University of Colorado in Denver, following a general surgery internship at the University of Colorado. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Florida State University College of Medicine and completed pre-medical studies at the University of West Florida. Prior to pursuing medicine, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Boston University. Dr. Kotlarz is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Kotlarz brings broad clinical experience across a variety of practice settings, including trauma, obstetrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, ENT, pediatrics, and regional anesthesia. Her recent work has taken her to hospitals throughout Oregon, Montana, and California, including previous locums coverage at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Kotlarz has a strong commitment to service and community engagement. She spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in El Salvador, where her work included HIV/AIDS awareness initiatives, medical mission translation, education, and collaboration with Habitat for Humanity. She has also contributed to quality improvement and research projects focused on trauma care, ICU intubation, and regional anesthesia handoff protocols.
