Biography

Dr. Chun earned her Doctor of Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University before completing her anesthesiology residency and Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York.

Throughout her training, Dr. Chun developed expertise in the perioperative care of patients undergoing complex cardiac and thoracic procedures while demonstrating a strong commitment to education and academic scholarship. She has presented research at national meetings, including the Society of Cardiac Anesthesiologists Annual Conference and the American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual Meeting, with work focused on structural heart disease, mechanical circulatory support, thoracic anesthesia, and perioperative care. Dr. Chun is an active member of the Society of Cardiac Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
