Austin earned his Master of Science in Anesthesia through Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine’s Washington, D.C.-based program. Prior to graduate school, he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Honors from the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, Canada.

Austin's clinical background includes a diverse range of anesthetic care settings, including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, gastrointestinal procedures, and the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Austin has demonstrated a strong commitment to team leadership and operational support. In previous roles, he took on responsibilities beyond direct patient care, serving as an AA liaison and assisting with scheduling coordination and payroll administration.
