Biography

Dr. Desjardins received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, summa cum laude, from Boston University, after which she worked as a Research Assistant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She then headed to Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where she received her Doctor of Medicine and her PhD in Molecular, Cell Biology, and Pathobiology. Dr. Desjardins went on to complete her anesthesiology residency as well as a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University, where she was also Chief Resident of Oregon Scholars Program in Critical Care Medicine.
