Biography

Dr. Carey earned his AB from Harvard College in 2014 and his MD from Oregon Health & Science University in 2020. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2024, followed by a fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management.

Beyond clinical training, Dr. Carey has contributed to medical education through hands-on teaching of medical students in both simulation labs and operating rooms. He presented research on complex airway cases at the 2022 ASA Meeting and co-authored a peer-reviewed article on aortic insufficiency complications. His commitment to service includes early involvement in the Boy Scouts of America, global health missions in the Philippines and Uganda, and local health outreach through Harvard College Access Health. These experiences reflect his longstanding dedication to both patient care and community engagement.
