Biography
Dr. House received his bachelor of arts, cum laude, with a triple major in classical languages, mathematics, and chemistry, from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and his doctor of medicine from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. House completed his internship at Brookwood Baptist Health in Birmingham, Alabama, and his anesthesiology residency at the University of California–San Francisco. While still at UCSF, he went on to complete a fellowship in pain medicine, and was also on staff as an obstetrical anesthesiologist at California Pacific Medical Center–Sutter Health.
