Biography
Paulo has a robust educational background, including a DNAP degree from Excela School of Anesthesia and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah. He also holds critical care certifications, including CCRN and specialized training in thoracic ICU, RVAD, and LVAD care.
With extensive nursing experience, he worked as a travel nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic and as a staff nurse at Intermountain Medical Center (2013-2020), specializing in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care. He has leadership experience as a charge nurse, educator, and mentor, and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, enhancing communication skills in diverse environments.
