Biography

Dr. Yang completed a fellowship in Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, following her anesthesiology residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and her Bachelor of Arts in Biology, magna cum laude, from Carleton College.

Throughout her training, Dr. Yang has demonstrated excellence in anesthesiology and critical care. She achieved a top 10% score on the Anesthesiology BASIC Examination and consistently performed at a high level on the American Board of Anesthesiology In-Training Examination, including scores in the 97th and 94th percentiles. She has also been recognized multiple times with the University of Rochester Medical Center’s I-CARE Strong Star for Excellence for her commitment to patient care, teamwork, and communication.

Dr. Yang has a strong background in clinical research, education, and leadership, with peer-reviewed publications and presentations spanning anesthesiology, critical care, pathology, and transfusion medicine. She is also a member of several professional organizations, including the Society of Critical Care Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
