Biography
Dr. Shepherd received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and his Doctor of Medicine from Michigan State University in Grand Rapids. Dr. Shepherd completed his internship and residency at the University of Chicago Medicine, where he was an elected Committee Member for Graduate Medical Education representing anesthesia residents on policy. He went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at the University of Michigan Medicine – C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor.
