Biography
Dr. Thompson completed an anesthesiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. He earned his M.D. from the University of Arkansas, graduating with Honors in Research and Global Health. He also earned a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Anthropology and Departmental Honors from the University of Arkansas.
Dr. Thompson has led subspecialty teaching, instructed airway workshops, and delivered educational talks in obstetric anesthesia. As Education Lead for the EQuIP Committee, he helped develop curricula and resident initiatives. He also founded a community health program, UAMS Walk with a Future Doc, to improve exercise motivation and health literacy to county residents.
